You Deserve Peace
You deserve peace—not constant pain.
Some hurts we carry quietly. You smile. You go to work, attend church, care for your family, maybe even encourage others. But deep inside, there’s a wound that still aches whenever you remember what happened.

Peaceful and at Rest.
Maybe someone betrayed your trust. Maybe someone said something that broke you. Maybe you were treated unfairly, abandoned, rejected, or deeply disappointed.
And sometimes the hardest part isn’t what happened—it’s that you keep reliving it.
The Choice Ahead of You
You cannot change what happened yesterday, but you can decide what you carry into tomorrow.
Forgiveness is not pretending the pain didn’t happen. It’s not saying what they did was acceptable. And it doesn’t always mean restoring the same level of relationship or trust.
Forgiveness is choosing not to let the pain become the master of your future.
When you forgive, you give yourself permission to breathe again. To laugh again. To love again. To trust God again. To dream again. To live again.
Rest for the Weary
Jesus said:
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28
Perhaps the burden you need to lay down today isn’t physical. Perhaps it’s the weight of resentment, disappointment, anger, or an old wound. Bring it to Jesus. You don’t have to carry what God is inviting you to release.
Forgiveness may be a process. Some wounds take time to heal, so give yourself grace. Pray. Talk to God honestly. Set the boundaries you need. But don’t let yesterday’s pain steal today’s joy or tomorrow’s possibilities.
You deserve peace—not because what happened didn’t matter, but because your future matters too.
Today, Make a Choice
I will not allow what happened to become who I am.
I will not let bitterness write the rest of my story.
I choose healing.
I choose freedom.
I choose peace.
Faith Confessions
I declare that I am free from the chains of unforgiveness. I release every hurt into God’s hands, and I receive His peace in my heart.
I declare that yesterday will not control my today. God is healing my heart, restoring my joy, and giving me grace to move forward.
I declare that I will live again, love again, dream again, and rejoice again. My future is not defined by my pain but by God’s purpose for my life.
A Final Thought
You don’t have to forget everything that happened to forgive. Sometimes forgiveness simply means saying:
“It hurt me, but it will not own me anymore.”
Today, choose peace. Choose forgiveness. Choose freedom. Choose to live again.
