GOD IS ABLE TO MAKE ME STAND

“Who are you to judge another’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand.”Romans 14:4 NKJV
Reflection
There are moments in life when we fall.
Sometimes we fall because of a wrong decision. Sometimes because of weakness. Sometimes because we were careless. Sometimes we simply stumble along the journey.
Whatever the reason, falling can leave us asking difficult questions:
“How did I get here?”
“Can God still use me?”
“Have I ruined everything?”
“Will I ever recover?”
Romans 14:4 gives us a powerful answer:
“God is able to make him stand.”
The Scripture does not say that the person never fell. It says that God is able to make him stand.
That distinction is important. Your fall is real, but it is not necessarily final.
Your failure may need to be acknowledged. Where repentance is necessary, repent. Where restitution is possible, make it. Where lessons need to be learned, learn them.
But do not confuse falling with being finished.
The same God who has sustained you before can restore your footing.
Your confidence today is not: “I am strong enough.”
Your confidence is: “God is able.”
You may not know exactly how you will get back up. You may not yet see how everything will be repaired.
But you can begin here:
God is able to make me stand.
RESTORATION TRUTH
My fall is not the end of my story because God is able to make me stand again.
FAITH INSTALLATION
I will not allow my failure to become my identity. I will learn from my fall without living permanently under its shadow. My hope is in the God who restores.
TODAY'S DECLARATION
I fell, but I am not finished. I stumbled, but I will rise again. My failure does not have the final word. God can restore me, strengthen me, and make me stand. I receive His grace today. I will stand again!
PRAYER
Father, I come before You acknowledging my weakness and my need for Your grace. Where I have fallen, help me rise. Where I have failed, teach me. Where I have caused hurt, give me courage to make things right. Deliver me from condemnation and restore my confidence in You. Give me strength to take the next step. I choose to believe Your Word above the voice of my failure.
Thank You that my story is not over. You are able to make me stand. In Jesus' name, Amen.
